Apparently I’m the last person in the known universe to discover garment steamers. While personalising our 2026 Red Nose Walk to Remember T-shirts, I’ve finally found a much easier way to tackle those stubborn fold lines — without wrestling an iron and ironing board. A little behind-the-scenes look at Above Byron Printing, our personalised remembrance shirts, and my embarrassingly late discovery of steam.

Over the past few years the cost of postage through Australia Post has risen at a pace that none of us small business owners could have predicted. Each increase chips away at already thin margins and we have done everything possible to absorb these costs so that our customers would not feel the full weight of them. Unfortunately the latest round of price changes has made it impossible to continue covering these increases ourselves.

When we first visited Mullumbimby over 20 years ago now to see if it was the place we wanted to settle there were multiple hotel options within town which have now been reinvented into permanent accommodation.  Fortunately there are now  many options for accommodation including Air BnB , Caravan camping at either Mullumbimby Showgrounds or the Giants footy grounds , hipcamp plus two motels in town - The Middle Pub (see our separate blog for our recommendation for their meals) and Mullum Motel.
